On May 3, 2022, I had the pleasure of taking Rob Greco Sr. and Robert Dervin out for an afternoon fishing trip on Sebago Lake. They wanted to target the lake’s elusive native landlocked Atlantic salmon… it only took a few minutes for the first rod to fire off and we netted a healthy 17″ salmon! After a couple hours we decided to drop the gear down to the bottom and go after some lake trout and boated 3 that were the perfect table fare.
It’s always great to meet new people and exciting when they share the same passion for the outdoors as I do. Rob owns a family-owned and run sporting goods store, LI Outdoorsman, on Long Island in New York. It was an absolute pleasure fishing with Rob and Rob and I look forward to meeting up for some ice fishing this winter.
